Our agency currently offers the following programs within the adult correctional facilities in San Mateo County, which provide rehabilitation, education, and stress reduction. These have had a positive effect on not only the Inmates, but also on our community as a whole.
HOPE HOUSE is a program of the Service League of San Mateo County, an independent non-profit organization, which provides intensive residential treatment program for women who have a SUD (Substance Use Disorder).
The Service League transitional housing program provides a safe and affordable environment for individuals who want to re-enter the community and need supportive housing.
Service League is able to provide shelter referrals/emergency motel vouchers, bus tickets, emergency food bags, hygiene kits, and clothing to those who qualify.
Service League provides religious services to inmates in San Mateo County Jails to ensure that inmates of all faiths have their religious needs met while in jail. We assist with coordinating chaplaincy services, marriage requests, and notifying inmates of deaths and critical health information regarding family members.
