Our encouragement of responsible behavior through case management and structured living is effective in rebuilding self-respect in those who avail themselves of this opportunity.
We operate three 6-bed homes for men 18 years and older.
One of our homes is named and operated in the memory of Tim Griffith. Tim’s House provides transitional housing for young men recovering from addiction and returning to society after incarceration.
Mike’s House was opened to continue the outreach and vision of Mike Nevin, the previous Executive Director of Service League. At Mike’s House re-alignment clients are our priority population. By helping previous offenders rejoin society prepared to offer positive contributions, these two houses help to not only reduce the drain on the community caused by drug abuse and crime, but also helps build safer and more positive neighborhoods.
Our third house is open to a more general population and serves men coming from shelters, treatment programs, and other unstable housing situations. Their time in our house gives them a chance to stabilize and get back on their feet.
